Michael is not a “therapist”, and yet I have gone deeper with him than I have most therapists. He is not a “teacher”, and yet I have learned so much from him. He is not a guru, and yet he has guided me into spaces of the sacred, the mysterious, the true. Sessions with Michael are often non-linear, unexpected, quietly unfolding. And yet, almost always, we arrive somewhere I didn’t know I needed to go, somewhere truer than where we began. With Michael, I access places in myself that exist beyond the intellectual mind, that stretch beyond the five senses. Michael holds space in a way that is rare in this world — quietly, clearly, spaciously, with zero performance. He witnesses my rage, my sorrow, my wonder. He doesn’t flinch. He doesn’t fix. He just stays curious, steady, grounded, and real. And in that space, I soften. I find myself again. In a world quick to pathologize, to give a diagnosis, a label, an answer, Michael offers something else, the safety and stillness to hear my own knowing.
